About Gerard Bianco
The Changing Tide
Meet Gerard Bianco: Artist, Educator, Author
My Story
At the heart of my work is storytelling. Whether through paintings, novels, short stories, or plays, I am drawn to the power of narrative—how a single moment can capture an entire world of emotion, memory, or possibility.
My paintings are more than images; they are invitations. Each one asks the viewer to step inside, to imagine what came before, and to wonder what comes next. I strive to create works that don’t just please the eye but also engage the imagination and spark conversation.
My Artistic Process
After decades of teaching painting, I developed the Gerard Bianco Six-Step Painting Method® to give beginner and intermediate artists a clear, practical approach to the painting process. I use it all the time and Step One begins before the first brushstroke.
Interested in learning my method? Or, if you have questions about my work, or would like to commission a painting, please contact me. Thank you for stopping by. "
